The Talurit® 2000T swager is engineered to handle some of the largest wire rope sizes available on the market today. It can swage aluminum ferrules up to size 60 in a single stage and up to size 86 in multi-stage operations, and Flemish eye (carbon steel) up to size 4″. Like all our swagers, it is designed and manufactured at our facilities in Sweden, ensuring top-notch quality and precision.
The P 2000T 2HS swager is equipped with an efficient power pack and a silencing package to reduce noise, enhancing the operator’s work environment. It features various operator functions such as a return stroke limiter, hold function, and automatic swaging cycle stop. Additionally, it has a time-based automatic power shutdown to conserve energy. The swager body is designed for optimal material usage, offering a spacious work area for the operator while minimizing the environmental impact of manufacturing. Despite its eco-friendly design, it still ensures high strength, long service life, and minimal maintenance.
This machine is powered by a robust and reliable 22kW two-stage hydraulic unit controlled by solenoid valves. The special TALURIT® valve house facilitates a smooth and safe transition from low to high pressure, significantly improving the work environment. Operation is straightforward, with an electrical foot pedal allowing the operator to use both hands during swaging. The foot pedal includes a ‘hold’ position to aid in rope and eye adjustment, as well as tool setup. To optimize and ensure the quality of the operation, the maximum swage load can be preset with automatic piston return, and the start position (opening between the press dies) is adjustable. These features save time and reduce unnecessary movements for the operator. When the machine is left unused, the resource-saving automatic shutdown feature turns it off, but it can be easily restarted by pressing the foot pedal.
